Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital incorrectly told a Brooklyn woman she was HIV-positive, a lawsuit says.
Sandra Peralta went in for HIV testing in March 2016. The results came back positive, according to the Brooklyn Supreme Court suit, but the results of two more rounds of bloodwork were negative. The hospital told Peralta the negative conclusion was “final.” Read More
