Nigeria winning war against HIV/AIDS —Osinbajo

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, on Thursday said that Nigeria was winning the war against HIV/AIDS with a significant reduction in its prevalence from 5.8 per cent in 2001 to 1.4 per cent in 2019.

The Vice President spoke in Abuja at the presentation of a book, ‘Turning the tide: AIDS in Nigeria’ by AIDS Prevention in Nigeria Public Health Initiatives. Osinbajo was represented by the Minister of Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu, at the event. Read More
