God’s promised and powerful ever-present help

Our omnipresent heavenly Father, whose presence is the presence of help, is always where He needs to be, by/with you. Our omniscient God, who knows exactly what to do, has been a present help for you in the past, is now and will be in future. His nature is help and He is EVER present to help. Whether He is doing something or doing nothing, our omnipotent God is intervening, for where He is, help is. Please take a few minutes NOW to remind yourself of how powerfully your Helper rescued you from trials, tribulations and/or trouble last year.

Assuredly, He remains by your side, so you need not shudder and shake; simply call out to Him in times of trouble. Also, do not fret or fear for He promises to deliver and protect you if you hold fast to Him in love and know Him by name (Ps 91:14-16). Do you know Him and are you holding fast in love?

We have the blessed assurance that God is there for us but are we there for others? We are made in His image and have inherited aspects of His identity. Therefore, like Him, we are instinctively helpers.  Everyone’s purpose in life is to, in some way, help someone else. Who did you help last year? How do you plan to help this year?
