I have no reason, no excuses; no, I will not look back. Having placed my hands on the plough, would I dare look back? Of course not! As I have, undoubtedly, tasted of His kindness, seen His goodness, experienced His mercy and compassion, I know, without a shadow of doubt, that the Lord is good and His mercies, which are new every morning, endure forever.
I have counted the cost; said goodbye to the world and to the pleasures of sin; my mind is made up! I have decided to go God’s way for the rest of my life. What this means is that I am not turning back. I have experienced His love that is deeper than the deepest ocean and higher than the highest mountain. Can anything separate me from such amazing love?
I am following my loving shepherd who he leads me to green pastures and still waters and look forward to dwelling in His house forever. As an obedient sheep, I will go wherever He wants me to go, imitate and serve Him so that I can be a good example to the world.
