It is, undoubtedly, a good time to reflect on the past year’s achievements with a grateful heart. Recalling how got saw us through struggles, trials and challenges and being thankful for the opportunities they presented to build our character and deepen our reliance on Him is indeed a valuable exercise.

The beginning of a new year is also an appropriate time to intentionally pause, recalibrate and align our life with God’s purpose. Maybe you need to get back on track, readjust your priorities, evaluate your goals, review your God-given talents to ensure they are being used to glorify Him. Or do you have to ensure that your hard-earned skills are being used to serve a greater purpose in God’s divine plan? Whatever it is, recalibrating will help achieve a more fulfilling and purpose-driven life.

Having identified those areas that need alignment, you can now refocus: seek His face daily, spend time in the word and meditate on Scriptures that will help achieve those goals, turn relevant Bible promises into prayers. Of course, there is so much more we can do. Would you like to share some of them with us?

As you take stock, finetune and attune your heart and mind to God’s standard, I pray that you gain a deeper connection and understanding of His purpose.
