Nigerian Govt Increases Allowance For Graduate Scheme, NYSC, From N33,000 To N77,000

The Federal Government has officially approved a significant increase in the monthly allowance of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members from N33,000 to N77,000. In a statement released Wednesday night, Caroline Embu, the Acting Director of Information and Public Relations at NYSC, confirmed that the new allowance will take effect from July 2024.

This development follows the recent enactment of the National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Act, 2024.
