Late fashion icon\u00a0Karl Lagerfeld<\/a>\u00a0gave up sex for 30 years following the tragic death of his longterm partner Jacques de Bascher.<\/p>\n

The German designer was left heartbroken when his boyfriend of 18 years, Jacques de Bascher, died of complications from AIDS in 1989 at the age of 38.<\/p>\n
