So, when you exp<\/em><em>lore the OED online and click on the pronunciations, you\u2019ll hear my #voice bringing these words to life.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The words include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Japa<\/strong>: Defined as \u201cthe emigration of Nigerians to other countries (esp. those in Europe or North America) in search of further education, employment, or economic opportunity.\u201d<\/li>\n<li><strong>Agbero<\/strong>: \u201cA person (usually a boy or young man) who works as a tout, typically at car parks and bus stops, collecting money from passengers and drivers, and ushering passengers onto vehicles.\u201d<\/li>\n<li><strong>Yahoo<\/strong>: Fraud perpetrated on the internet, esp. involving requests for advance payment for services or products that are ultimately never provided.
