Do you see God’s value in people?

Do you have any spiritual sibling(s) facing an emotional, financial or health challenge? Do you still see God’s value in them? You must remember that God paid the same price for all believers. What this means is that ALL His children are important, special to and valued by Him. They are made in His image, they and represent Him and the value He places in them is permanent. It will never change!

No matter what they are going through, your brothers and sisters remain worthy. Therefore, you must continue to honour and respect them. You must see them the way God sees them and call them what He calls them. This is not the time to settle scores, gloat, gossip about or abandon them.

God did not create people so you can devalue, dishonour or belittle them. Also, He does not want you to reject or ridicule them. Quite the contrary. He wants you to remind them that their self-worth is in what He thinks of them, who He calls them and how He sees them. How often do you tell people that, uplift them when they are going through a rough patch or remind them of God’s purpose for their lives.

Your duty is to make a difference by honouring and encouraging those facing challenges. Get creative! Think of how you can remind or show them that God values them. Believe me, as you do, you will also appreciate God’s value in you more.
