Lagos socialite, Jay Jay Oladimeji arrested in UK for alleged drug tafficking, money laundering

Popular Lagos socialite and London big boy, Jay Jay Oladimeji, has been arrested by London Metropolitan Police on charges of drug trafficking and money laundering.

The arrest took place on Christmas day, December 25th, 2024, and Oladimeji has been remanded at Belmarsh prison in Woolwich.

According to a confidential source who spoke to Newsextra, a sum of 3 million pounds and drugs were found in Oladimeji’s house in London. The source, who wished to remain anonymous, revealed that the police had been monitoring Oladimeji’s activities for some time before making the arrest.

Oladimeji, known for his lavish lifestyle and extravagant parties, has been a prominent figure in both the London and Lagos social scenes. His arrest has sent shockwaves through both communities, with many expressing disbelief at the allegations against him.

The London Metropolitan Police have not released any official statement regarding Oladimeji’s arrest, but sources privy to this development  have confirmed that he is facing serious charges related to drug trafficking and money laundering. Jay Jay Oladimeji is a prominent personality in Nigeria who has a street named after him in Lekki area of Lagos.

His video went viral recently, having spent lavishly on popular Fuji Maestro.

As the case unfolds, more details are expected to emerge about the extent of Oladimeji’s alleged criminal activities.
