You are Christ’s ambassador (2 Corinthians 5:20)!  What this means is that, as His representative, you look after His interests and help people learn about His Kingdom, people and culture. But how well are you discharging His mission? Here are a few reflective questions:

Are you reflecting the image of your heavenly Father, mirroring His nature and character wherever you go and in whatever you do? Are you good to those around you?  Does your life bring honour to Him? Are you, with words and deeds, telling people about His Kingdom, people and culture? Simply put, are you, that ambassador, showing the world God’s way of life?

Try recalling your words, thoughts, and actions in the past week, or, even, in the past 24 hours, do they appropriately portray you as a true ambassador of heaven?

To represent God in a way that brings glory, you need to draw strength from Him daily and directly; in short, permanently. This is the only way you can develop the Christ-like nature that you need. Abide in Him so that, with the power of the Holy Spirit, you will be a good witness of Christ to the utmost parts of the earth.  Follow His example as this will ensure that you copy His actions and behaviours.

Remember, this is not just a privilege, it is also a responsibility.  Showcase Him at all times and in all places!
